Aberfeldy Weekend
The Club has organized a training weekend for the dates 27 th – 28 th March, this event is a must for all who want the chance to test themselves against a challenging course and do two days of back to back training in race conditions. But lets face it its also a great social event for those not planning to be in bed by 10:00pm and up for a bit of partying , you know who you are and which category you fit into ………….
More details will follow in the next week, along with contact numbers for accommodation which you must book yourself . The booking gives us all-day access to a private room, 2 x 1 hour sessions in the pool, and cycle storage on the Saturday and Sunday.
Cost will depend on numbers but should be no more than £20 per head
Club Web Site
The web site www.steelbonnets.co.uk has proved successful in spreading the word on Triathlon in the Borders and we are in the process of making changes which will speed up the site and make it more user friendly.
This will become a very important communication tool for the club and you are encouraged to use it frequently as the communication board on the site along with Email will become the default way of communicating with all members.
Please ensure you are on the email circulation list by sending your email address to contact@steelbonnets.co.uk this will likely be the last communication made by snail mail (by post).
All members will be emailed when the new site goes live, in the meantime the old site is accessible but a bit slow, please bear with us while we make the improvements.
Club Membership
A last reminder that all subs for season 2004 are now due, please contact Charlie Roberts via the contact email membership@steelbonnets.co.uk if you need details of where to send your subs or if you need a membership form. There should be a downloadable MS Word membership form on the website soon and we hope to have adobe acrobat versions soon.
Wishing everyone a successful season in 2004 and don't leave the championship to the Short brothers this year, get out there and compete!!!
Cheers,
Tom McGovern
